HI!!!! Welcome to my little business! My name is Stephanie Penney and I moved to Maple Valley in 2017. I am a full time kindergarten teacher at a local elementary school, full time mom of 2 kiddos, and wife to an amazing and supportive man.
I started my photography business in 2007 soon after my son turned one. We had a pretty traumatic experience at a big name portrait studio. After wiping tears, picking up my 1 year old son and walking out of the studio, I vowed to never step into a studio again and I was determined to start capturing my memories on my own.
I purchased my first camera began reading and studying a lot of books, taking classes, and a lot of practice. Within a few months friends began begging me to take their family photos. By 2010, I was ready to start a small business with the sole purpose of offering affordable pictures to everyone.
Fast forward to today, and I still hold that true. I want everyone to be able to get professional photos without paying a fortune. I offer a Pay What You Can program for families of High School Seniors, and discounts through out the year on other sessions too. Please reach out you feel photos are unaffordable. I am happy to work with families on most occasions.
